This seminar highlights the special procedures and roles of the International Trade Committee (INTA) and showcase examples from recent cases of EU trade policy in the European Parliament. The European Parliament must approve all trade agreements. This training provides the tactics and strategies to work with the European Parliament and influence the process of approving any new trade agreement. In addition, explaining the significant power the European Parliament has on a multitude of trade-related issues, i.e.  food safety standards, labour rights, data privacy, and environmental standards.
